Synca Wellness CirC Massage Chair Review
We don't know about you, but one glance at the Synca Wellness CirC Massage Chair has got our hearts skip a beat. Isn't it one of the most beautiful massage chair you have ever seen?
The CirC is not all about looks and appearances only though - this little baby here is equipped with functions comparable to its giant counterparts. Best of all, it is one of the smallest massage chair in the market, under $1,000 too!

Price & Availability
Yes, the CirC has won a Good Design Award back in 2017 with its modern design and 106-degree ergonomic seating angle and position.
Not only does it NOT look like your usual massage chairs (which some may define as big and ugly) what's with its minimalist and sleek appearance, it is also one of the smallest massage chair in the market.
Now, there are actually many who are in the hunt for a compact massage chair - be it because they cannot stand the bulky designs, or that their room cannot fit.
The CirC will, in this instance, totally fit the bill with its small footprint.
Most importantly, it doesn't look like a massage chair at all. With three contemporary colour to choose from, the CirC will make for one stylish and comfortable chair that will spruce up any room, even if you don't use its massage functions.
Which brings us to, this massage chair provides professional massage techniques execution that includes tapping and kneading instead of the usual air and rolling functions commonly found in conventional chairs.
The intelligent massage hands imitate a massage therapists' method of kneading to feel as if they are real hands with the strength ranging from "Strong" to "Gentle".
In this regard, it is quite similar to the Infinity Riage CS - another popular compact massage chair that employs robotic massage techniques but the CirC took it one step further by implementing a SL-Track design.
If you know a thing or two about massage chairs, you will know that the SL-Track is the most advanced technology to date.
Usually offered only in high end or bulky massage chairs, this is a hybrid of the S and L track that allows massage nodes to not just roll along the S curvature of your spine but extend beyond it to reach the back of your thighs.
To put it simply, the massage hands will move up and down to pinpoint locations from your trapezius to your hamstring, from the upper back to the back of your thighs.
By now you probably can tell that this chair focuses on the back and pelvic region.
Yes, the philosophy behind its design is that it is believed that the everyday fatigue and stress can be gotten rid of with lower body core movements.
You see, muscles in the pelvic region are an important support structure associated with lower leg and vertebral core muscle movement. Tense or stiff muscles in the pelvic region can cause pain and dysfunction in the lower back and hips.
With alternating hip movements from left to right, you can actually loosen up the muscle near the base of the spine to help reduce lower back pain.
The CirC does exactly just that by using its whisper-quiet air cell technology and gentle precise massage hands to loosen the lumbar paraspinal muscles, alternating its gentle movement from left to right .
This is another feature that makes the CirC stands out - its combination of both compression and robotic massage because if you recall similar chairs in that size, it's usually either one or the other.
Adding to that is the restorative heat therapy at the lumbar region that penetrates the whole body from waist to back to enhance the effect of the massage.
You can select to massage your whole body or pinpoint a location with an easy-to- use controller.
So this is purely aesthetic, but the Synca Wellness CirC has lights that generate a soft candle glow located on either side of the headrest.
While one may say that such ambient lighting is not necessary, the gentle orange lighting does add to the relaxation factor and improves the massage quality overall.
Just like how candles were lit or lights being dimmed at spa sanctuaries, the ambient lighting replicates and provides just that.
For something that usually can only be found in higher end massage chairs, no doubt this is a nice extra to have for a massage chair under 1000.
Another thing that we like about the CirC is its warranty and customer service.
If you have read our massage chair buying guide, you will know that warranty and/or after-sale service are important criteria to look at amongst other things.
This is because to a certain extent, the length of warranty speaks about the quality of a product - the longer it is, the more confidence it shows the manufacturer has in its product.
On this regard, the CirC stands by its product 100%. If there is any fault found with your massage chair, a replacement will be provided. The best thing is - it doesn't require you give a long testimonial or whatnot to be qualified - just tell them what the problem is and that's it.
Things to Note
Having said the above, there is one thing that we have to bring your attention to - the CirC is not the best massage chair for tall people.
It's not just with the CirC - most compact massage chairs have this problem where the bottom of the chair is placed quite low to the ground so if you lean towards the tall side, we can see how it can be quite uncomfortable after sitting in it for too long.
Also, if you are tall, you may find yourself having to adjust your position for the rollers to be able to hit where you want them to.
On the flip side though, it makes for one of the best massage chair for short adults.
Compared to the Riage CS (which has a similar design), this one here does not have a footrest. It is not a deal breaker to us by any means, but we can see why it can be something that drive some people away.
Overall, the massage features of this chair makes it one of the best chair for lower back and hip pain. If these are the only areas you are having trouble in, the Synca Wellness CirC Massage Chair will be the best massage chair for you.
Nevertheless, there are things that you will have to compromise when you go for a small massage chair like this. For the CirC, it is the lack of footrest/foot massage. Then again, it is not a necessity for everyone. If you're on the petite side, this chair may just be perfect.
With a price tag like that for all that it offers, the CirC is truly one of the best massage chair under 1000 you can ever find in the market. Highly recommend!
